Double Denim & Slingback Heels


I've always been a huge advocate of double denim. Ever since Britney and Justin debuted their matching denim ensembles I've been obsessed with it (Britney was my idol growing up, my room was plastered with her posters, I still know the words to every single song and I've watched her Crossroads film too many times to count...)

I love this denim jacket, it has such a '90s feel to it with the oversized shape and the rose embroidery is so intricate and pretty. I  also have a huge thing for slingback shoes and I love the colour of these New Look ones. They're simple and classic, but the wooden block heel and V-cut detailing make them a little different from your standard court heel. Plus they're only £25.99 which is an absolute bargain!

    I love double denim, but I hardly ever wear that look myself, not sure why, but this outfit is definitely inspiring to me, I believe double denim always works better with a skirt rather than jeans! Lovely post :)

      Thank you! Yes I agree, I find having a skirt or shorts with bare legs helps to break up the outfit a bit so it's not too OTT! x

    The first concert I ever went to was a Brittney one so...I'd say that counts me as a fan? haha

    I haven't personally rocked the double denim but I love this look on you, the double denim really suits you. Honestly your outfit posts have been perfect lately!
